I hereby make application, in the class designated above, to South Shore Realtors®, and enclose the current training fee and dues as outlined in
instructions on page 2. In the event of my election, I agree to abide by the Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORS® and the
Bylaws and Rules and Regulations of the above named association, the State Association, and the National Association, and if required, I further
agree to satisfactorily complete a reasonable and nondiscriminatory written examination of such Code, Bylaws, and Rules and Regulations. I
consent that the Association, through its Member Engagement Task Force or otherwise, may invite and receive information and comment about me
from any member or other person, and I further agree that any information and comment furnished to the Association by any person in response to
the invitation shall be conclusively deemed to be privileged and not form the basis of any action by me for slander, libel, or defamation of character.
NOTE: Applicant acknowledges that if accepted as a Member and he/she subsequently resigns or is expelled from membership in the Association
with an ethics complaint or arbitration request pending, the Board of Directors may condition renewal of membership upon applicant’s verification
that he/she will submit to the pending ethics or arbitration proceeding and will abide by the decision of the Hearing Panel; or, if applicant resigns or
is expelled from membership without having complied with an award in arbitration, the Board of Directors may condition renewal of membership
upon his/her payment of the award, plus any costs that have previously been established as due and payable in relation thereto, provided that the
award and such costs have not, in the interim, been otherwise satisfied. Membership is provisional and may be revoked should requirements not
be completed. Orientation must be completed within four months time as indicated in the Bylaws or you will be inactivated and assessed a
$150.00 fee for reactivation. Membership Dues must be made within 14 days of receipt of Membership Materials or you will be assessed a
$25.00 late fee and your DR/Manager will be notified. By signing below I acknowledge I have read and agree to the terms above.
