• Return books on time – loan periods are for 3 months
• Make sure up to date contact details are provided so
we can share the latest news with you
• Recommend book titles to add to the readers group
collection
• Support libraries with the writing of book reviews from
the books you have read. To be shared on
www.facebook.com/coventryreads and in libraries
• Support libraries with the promotion and attendance
at author events
• Seek funding for author visits and/or book collections
from other organisations

A group of people who meet, chat and share
their enthusiasm for books. If you a are an avid reader or
just enjoy a book from time to time, readers groups offer
something for everyone. The groups are sociable and a
fantastic way of sharing and debating all kinds of books.
• Free loan of up to date books , including books
from a specially selected readers group list, which is
available in printed and electronic versions
• Books available to collect from your local library
• Space to hold your meeting
• A Reading Pack with help and advice in setting up
and running your group
• Information about author and other events in libraries
• Promotional offers from other agencies, for example
free readers group books from Readers Groups for
