CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Johnson called the meeting to order at 10:00 AM

NEW BUSINESS
A. Gateway to Recovery Program
Mr. OHare, from Touchstone Recovery, did a power point presentation for the Committee which
highlighted the Gateway to Recovery Program, a long-term recovery program for people with
addictions. The program is run through Touchstone Recovery Homes, 24-hour facilities with
locations in Southern Michigan and California. Mr. OHare stated that he is planning on opening
a facility in the Gaylord area.
Mrs. OHare spoke on the family recovery programs, which provide counseling and support group
services for family members of their clients.
B. Agency Updates
Court System
Judge Morse informed the Committee that she was recently made aware that the drug court
funding will run out after three years and will be done after the State of Michigans 2011 fiscal
year.
Michigan State Police
Lt. Davis thanked the County for supporting SANE.
Prosecuting Attorney
Mr. Vella spoke in Mr. Legels absence, requesting to see a manual on the Gateway Recovery
Program, so he could have further information on how the program is operated.
The next meeting date was set for May 27, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.
Mr. Johnson adjourned the meeting at 11:15 AM.
