Steps:
1. Estimate the answer by rounding the
decimals to whole numbers and then
evaluate.
2. Rewrite the problem in working form. Line
up place values.
3. Fill in empty places with zeros.
4. Place the decimal point in the sum.
5. Evaluate the expression.
6. Compare the answer to the estimate to verify
the answer is reasonable.
