Attached you will find a signed declaration per the September 1, 2020 Center for
Disease Control Temporary Halt in Residential Evictions to Prevent the Further Spread of
COVID-19 Order. The Order prohibits you from taking any eviction action against me or my
household at this time, including but not limited to:
• Notice to Vacate
• Filing for Eviction
• Filing for Writ of Possession
• Enforcing any existing Writ of Possession
An individual who violates the CDC Order can receive in up to a $100,000 fine, one year
in jail, or both. If a death occurs due to the violation, said violation can result in up to a
$250,000 fine, one year in jail, or both. An organization that violates this order can receive up
to a $200,000 fine per violation, or up to a $500,000 fine if the violation results in a death.
