CRITERIA FOR ASA MEMBERSHIP
ACTIVE MEMBERSHIP
Persons who are employed in an administrative or supervisory capacity half time or more, including the Arizona Department of
Education and offices of county superintendents of schools. Persons employed by institutions of higher education, includin
g
comm
unity colleges, who are engaged half time or more in administrative duties. Persons employed in institutions of higher
education who are full-time instructional personnel in any college of education.
Active Membership Benefits: ASA Newsletter, ASA News You Can Use, Legal Assistance – available after 6 months of active
membership, AD & D Insurance (Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance), vote, hold office, reduced workshop
and conference fees.
ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
Persons who hold a current administrative certificate, but are not currently serving in an administrative or a supervisory capacity.
Associate Membership Benefits: ASA Newsletter, ASA News You Can Use, vote, reduced workshop and conference fees.
GRADUATE STUDENT MEMBERSHIP
Students enrolled in the graduate division of a college or university working toward an administrative certificate and not currently
serving in an administrative position or supervisory capacity. Out of state administrators seeking positions in Arizona.
Graduate Student Membership Benefits: ASA Newsletter, ASA News You Can Use, vote, reduced workshop and conference
fees.
RETIRED MEMBERSHIP
Members who have retired from active duty after achieving normal retirement age.

85009 or you may e-mail form with P.O. to johnh@azsa.org. (DO NOT SEND THIS FORM BY ITSELF or P.O. BY ITSELF TO ASA)

For Credit Card Payment, complete this form and email a copy to the ASA Office at carmen@azsa.org. Then call ASA with your
credit card information. (for your security, ASA will never call you for your credit card information)
National Dues (AASA, NASSP, NAESP) will be collected and transferred through the ASA Office. The national association
will bill you directly for renewal; however, registration and payment should be sent to ASA for processing.

Contributions/gifts to ASA are not deductible as charitable contributions for Federal Income Tax purposes)
